Shamble Format
- In shamble, each golfer hits his own ball from the tee box. The group then walks over to where those balls landed and elect only one whose landing position is deemed most desirable. Each golfer will then hit his own ball from that one chosen spot and proceed likewise until the lowest score for that hole is recorded.
- Scoring is the best net score of the four players.
- In the event of a tie for overall championship, Hole 18 will be played until a winner is decided.
Handicapping
- Each player will be assigned their handicap from the designated tee. From there, each player receives 50% of their allotted handicap.
- All players MUST have a GHIN or RCGA handicap to be eligible for the overall team prizes.
Special Rules
- Bogey is your friend! If your team is not in contention with scoring a bogey on the hole, you may pick up and proceed to the next hole.
- All jungle area is played as a Lateral Hazard, you may drop at point of entry with a 1 stroke penalty.
Tee Placement
- Men will play from the White Tees unless the following: Your handicap is above a 25, or your age is above 65, in which you can advance to the Red Tees if you choose to do so.
- Ladies will play from the Red Tees.
