A Collection of Private Residences
Shaped by Landscape, Light, and Legacy
Designed by Antoine Predock and set along a private ridgeline, Bahías is a limited collection of architecturally significant homes shaped by their landscape—immersed in jungle, light, and sea, far removed from the everyday.
The Vision of Antoine Predock
Recipient of the AIA’s highest honor and internationally revered for his deeply place-driven work, Predock approaches architecture as a dialogue with landscape. At Bahías, buildings emerge from the terrain rather than impose upon it. Sculpted concrete forms, shaded overhangs, and carefully framed views create a rhythmic interplay of light, breeze, and privacy—blurring the boundary between indoors and out.
Suspended along a narrow ridge high above the Pacific, the homes appear to float between earth and sky. Indoor-outdoor living is reimagined, traditional boundaries dissolve, and architecture becomes both shelter and art—awakening a feeling that is at once exhilarating, grounded, and enduring.

Setting
Between Two Bays
Set along a narrow ridgeline above the Pacific, Bahías occupies a singular position between Bahía Huevos to the north and Bahía de Culebra to the south—a rare condition that gives the collection its name. Homes on the north side look out toward the calm, protected waters of Bahía Huevos, while those facing south open to sweeping views across Bahía de Culebra and the open horizon beyond. From sunrise to sunset, light shifts across orientations, creating distinct atmospheres within a shared setting of elevation, privacy, and quiet.
Here, forest and sea meet back to back—creating a sense of immersion and balance that is felt throughout the collection and is rarely found, even within Peninsula Papagayo.
