Leading the transformation is Nemare, a longtime peninsula favorite and the resort’s signature Latin American steakhouse. The restaurant will emerge with a more immersive identity inspired by Guanacaste’s Sabanero, or cowboy, culture. Named for the Chorotega word for smoke, the redesigned space will combine a rich, atmospheric palette with natural materials that create warmth, depth, and intimacy.
A thoughtful mix of seating, including curved leather banquettes and outdoor communal tables, will accommodate everything from intimate dinners to larger social gatherings. An expanded exterior terrace will further strengthen Nemare’s connection to the surrounding landscape, while an updated culinary offering will build upon the restaurant’s distinctive celebration of fire, flavour and regional tradition.
