This award recognizes hotel and resort developments that demonstrate excellence in sustainable design, environmental responsibility, and community impact. Our nomination reflects years of effort to weave sustainability into every element of the guest and member experience—from low-impact architecture and biodiversity restoration to cultural heritage preservation and circular economy initiatives.
Leading Sustainable Community Empowerment Program
This category highlights programs that uplift local communities through sustainable development, capacity building, and inclusive economic opportunities. Our “Creciendo Juntos” platform, youth internships, vocational training partnerships, and recent “Heart of the House” initiative supporting people with disabilities are all part of a long-term commitment to creating pathways to prosperity for our neighbors in Guanacaste.
