In the heart of Palmares Preserve, where the lush foliage dances in the tropical breeze and the vibrant calls of wildlife echo through the canopy, lies The Outpost—a sanctuary for those seeking to immerse themselves in the untamed beauty of nature.

As we venture into a new era of exploration, The Explorers proudly introduces two exciting programs that promise to redefine adventure amidst the stunning backdrop of Palmares Preserve.

On Monday, November 7, the all-new aerial adventure experience will open at the Outpost at Palmares Preserve. Meet the new ropes expert joining the Explorers team, Freddy Salazar.

Situated deep inside Peninsula Papapgayo’s exclusive Palmares Conservation Area, Palmares Outpost will be ground zero for once-in-a-lifetime eco-adventures on and above ground. Gateway to 250 acres of pure energy, these protected wildlands span three different ecosystems in less than a square kilometer.

Papagayo Explorers Club pro bike guide Gabriel Chacón has been quietly building an alternate universe of singletrack in Palmares. “In a couple of hours you can ride through tropical dry forest, coastal mangroves and sandy beaches, see an amazing amount of wildlife, and be back at your villa in time for breakfast. You still have the rest of the day for lots of other fun stuff.”
